The annual Young Scientist Symposium (YSS) will be held at IST Austria. The YSS is a one-day multidisciplinary symposium organised by young researchers at IST, and this year's topic is Climate Change. The symposium will be held ONLINE!

Due to the situation with COVID-19, the Young Scientist Symposium will now be hosted online. The event will still take place on May 15, but will be hosted as an online webinar.

The YSS is a one-day multidisciplinary symposium organized by young researchers at IST Austria, and this year's topic is climate change. The day will include talks from multiple speakers, across many disciplines, presenting the latest climate research from within their field, as well as introducing the innovative scientific approaches being developed to tackle the issue.

The day will include talks from multiple speakers presenting the latest climate research, as well as introducing the innovative scientific approaches being developed to tackle the issue. Confirmed speakers are from diverse disciplines, including: biotechnology, computer science, atmospheric physics, forest ecology, and behavioural psychology, among others.

Registration is free on the website. We welcome attendance from all backgrounds.

There will be a free YSS shuttle bus provided on the morning of the symposium from Vienna to IST Austria.
